During last month’s Enterprise Connect conference, we had a chance to catch up with Alcatel-Lucent’s Enterprise team to review the business unit’s progress and plans for 2014. We spoke with Stan Corporeau, Sr. Director Solutions Marketing, and Lizardo Espinosa, also on the Solutions Marketing team. The two noted that discussions are moving forward for Huaxin (an existing partner of Alcatel-Lucent's Alcatel Shanghai Bell joint venture in China) to acquire the business unit, subject to customary approvals. Huaxin made a binding offer to acquire the division earlier this year.
