行/设备CSS的方法

CUCM processes the line CSS and then the device CSS. The device CSS includes all of the route patterns for that particular site and steers traffic to the local gateway through the route pattern > route list > route group > gateway call routing processing. The device calling search space is unrestricted and includes every PSTN route pattern. Call restrictions are applied explicitly at the line level through the use of a few cluster-wide CSS that include access to translation patterns with a block action. The line CSS explicitly blocks calls before the device CSS is considered. Additional information on these two approaches from the CUCM 7.x SRND appear at the end of this blog. I’ll talk about some more applications of CSS in the next blog.
